About the event
Discover the fundamentals of working safely and confidently around horses in a hands-on, supportive environment. Participants will learn about horse behavior, grooming, haltering, leading, tack care, feeding, and daily stable routines. The camp focuses on building respect, confidence, teamwork, and communication through real-life barn activities. Goals: • Develop a basic understanding of horse care and handling • Build confidence and comfort around horses • Learn teamwork and responsibility in a barn setting Topics Covered: Horse safety, grooming, anatomy, equipment care, nutrition, and understanding horse body language Format: Interactive sessions combining demonstrations, hands-on barn work, and group discussions. No riding is involved, and all activities are ground-based.
